The location was lovely, at walking distance from De Waal Park. Mountains and the bay were near the hotel. The restaurant was good for breakfast, we ordered wonderful dishes. The bed was amazing and the bathroom here was good-sized.

The room met needs, it was beautifully presented and huge here with an incredible view, a bathtub plus the free hot. Location: the hotel was just next door to all nice restaurants and cool club less 600m and South Africa. I tried some drinks at bar The Dark Horse, located 10 minutes walk away.

My recent stay at Welgelegen in Cape Town was absolutely delightful. I was in town for a business meeting and stayed for two nights. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to accommodate my requests. The facilities were excellent, and they even adjusted the breakfast time to match my early meeting. The service was top-notch, and the hotel had a clean, classic feel. The attention to detail and the care shown by Karen and her team made me feel right at home. a gem in the suburbs with beautiful decor, lovely staff, and a great view of Table Mountain from my room. Plus, it was walking distance to Kloof Street with its fantastic restaurants and bars.
I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely romantic escape in this charming boutique hotel. The breakfast spread was delicious and the staff were very welcoming. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Bonus points for the heated towel rack in the room - a cozy touch for chilly mornings.
The room we were in was a bit cramped, with limited storage space for our luggage. The courtyard was also quite small and could get crowded during peak hours, making it difficult to find a spot to relax.

The staff were extremely friendly and professional, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Despite a few minor flaws, such as a slightly uncomfortable bed and some noise from other guests, our overall experience was fantastic. The full-service breakfasts were delicious and generous, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Cape Town. I highly recommend this hotel for your next trip.
